-- Students from the Chemical Engineering and Olefin Polymerization research group visited the old professor on Teachers' Day

Autumn September, peaches and plums fragrance. On the 39th Teachers' Day, a group of five members from the Chemical Engineering and Olefin Polymerization research group of the School of Chemical Engineering and Biological Engineering of Zhejiang University went to the Qiushi Village of Yuquan Campus on September 8 to visit the widow of Professor Lu Dewei, Professor Wang, and Professor Rong Shunxi.

During the meeting, each student introduced their current research direction and research plan to Teacher Wang and Teacher Rong. They talked about their interests and passions and expressed their aspirations and expectations for their future research paths. Mr. Wang and Mr. Rong listened to each student's speech and gave encouragement and guidance.

Looking back on the brilliant history of the research group, Mr. Rong shared many valuable experiences and lessons. They mentioned the difficulties and challenges they had faced and the brilliant achievements they had made through team efforts and cooperation. They are full of expectations for the new students in the research group, hoping that they can inherit and carry forward the spirit of realism and innovation, and contribute their own strength to the development of the research group. Mr. Wang also told us about Mr. Lu Dewei's academic spirit and told us the story of the beginning of the establishment of the research group. Finally, Mr. Wang gave each student a gift of Mr. Lu's ink treasure, hoping that the students can inherit the spirit of Mr. Lu and continue to work hard.

Teachers Wang and Rong hope each student can maintain the pursuit of truth in the research work, the courage to innovate, and constantly break through the self. They encouraged students to be proud of Zhejiang University's chemical industry and contribute their wisdom and strength to China's chemical industry.
