    Jingdai Wang, born in 1974, male, professor, PhD tutor, director of Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Chemical Efficient Manufacturing Technology, director of the Development and Planning Office of Zhejiang University, fixed researcher of State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering, Distinguished Professor in Cheung Kong Scholars Program, winner of The National Sciece Fund for Distinguished Young, The Nation's 10000 People Plan to Lead the Talent. He graduated from Zhejiang University in 1996 and received Master's and Ph.D. degrees from Zhejiang University in 1999 and 2002 respectively. He worked a visiting scholar in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Akron University in the United States. Specializing in chemical engineering, he focuses on olefin polymerization reaction project, multiphase flow reaction engineering, multiphase flow detection and information processing research, etc. He has been responsible for undertaking research projects such as the National863Program, the National Natural Science Fund projects and other research projects. He has been granted more than 50 patents for inventions in China and 4 for science and technology awards at provincial and ministerial levels. He has published over 30 papers in major academic journals such as AIChE J., Chem. Eng. Sci. In 2010, he was selected as "New Century Excellent Talents Support Program" by the Ministry of Education and won the Eighth "Youth May Fourth Medal" of Zhejiang Province. He was elected as the eleventh member of the Youth Federation of China. In 2013, he won the twelfth Youth Science and Technology award of Zhejiang.

Research work experience

During the postgraduate period, he engaged in the research of polyolefin grade optimization scheduling and planning, and laid a solid mathematical foundation. His master thesis "Research on optimal strategy of product transition in continuous polymerization Process" won the Hou Xianglin Fund Award of China Foundation for Science and Technology Development. As a doctoral student, he was engaged in the research on the application of supercritical fluid in olefin polymerization - "Research on preparation of supported metallocene catalyst by supercritical solution co-precipitation method", which laid a solid foundation of chemical thermodynamics and olefin polymerization, and won the "National Merit Student Model" during this period.

After staying in school in 2002, he was engaged in theoretical and applied research on information strengthening and process strengthening of olefin polymerization engineering with modern online testing methods such as acoustic emission, static electricity, laser Raman and solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance as his research features. The multi-scale structural analysis theory of process information was first proposed, and the gas-phase polyethylene condensate operation technology and slurry HDPE slurry external circulation technology under controlled conditions were invented. The results were applied to the 140,000 tons/year slurry HDPE plant of Yangzi Petrochemical, and the yield was increased by 30%. Results At the same time, 15 sets of large-scale polyethylene, polypropylene and other industrial production equipment under Sinopec were popularized and applied, and the economic benefits were remarkable. At present, the technology is being extended to coal gasification process, catalyst regeneration process and so on. He has granted 15 patents for his inventions, and his academic work has been published in AIChE Journal and Ind.Eng.Chem.Res. In 2015, he won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress of China Metrology and Testing Society and the first prize of Technology invention of the Ministry of Education.

He undertook the sub-project of "300,000 tons/year gas-phase polyethylene complete technology development and Industrial Application" in the national key science and technology support plan project "million tons ethylene equipment and related technology Development". He is engaged in the R&D of the whole process monitoring software package, acoustic monitoring system, electrostatic detector and other proprietary technologies, and the results were applied to the first set of domestic industrial equipment, and won the first prize of science and Technology Progress of China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation in 2011. He has authorized 12 invention patents, and related academic achievements have been published in Chem.Eng.Sci. and Ind.Eng.Chem.Res.

At present, taking the mainstream polyethylene production process-fluidized bed polyethylene reactor, which accounts for 40% of the total production capacity, as the object, breaking the inherent concentration and temperature uniformity of the fluidized bed ethylene polymerization reactor, establishing a new process of multi-temperature zone fluidized bed polymerization reactor by creating different chemical reaction environments, and producing high-performance polyethylene resin. The limitation that the original fluidized bed reactor can only produce general materials is changed. Related theories are published in AIChE Journal and Ind.Eng.Chem.Res. The project has been selected as Sinopec Ten Dragon Science and Technology research project, and has successfully produced more than 120,000 tons of high-performance polyethylene grades such as stretch wrap film and stretch sleeve film. He has authorized 16 invention patents in China, the United States and other countries, obtained 5 National Natural Science Foundation projects including key projects, and 2 projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology. He was selected as the "New Century Outstanding Talents Support Program" of the Ministry of Education, the winner of the National Outstanding Young People Fund, the National 10,000 People Plan scientific and technological innovation leading talent and the "Changjiang Scholar" special Professor of the Ministry of Education.

3.境外学习/工作经历Overseas study/work experience

Funded by the PPP project of DAAD and CSC, he collaborated with Professor B. Blumich of Polymer Major at Aachen University of Technology in Germany from July, 2005 to September, 2006 to 2008 to study the determination of multiphase systems in gas-solid fluidized bed using nuclear magnetic resonance technology.

Supported by the China Scholarship Council, he collaborated with Professor J Zheng of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Akron University in the United States to conduct research on the application of molecular simulation in the reaction of polymers and MTP.
