Mr. Liao Zuwei was born in 1980. He was rated as a National Excellent Youth, professor, doctoral supervisor and Qiushi Young Scholar of Zhejiang University. He is a member of process systems engineering committee, system engineering society of China and a member of the editorial board of Scientific Reports. He studies the field of process systems engineering. He has published more than 100 SCI papers, obtained more than 30 authorized invention patents, and presided over 3 national funds and 1 national international science and technology cooperation project. He won the second prize of Second prize of technological innovation in 2016 (5/6), the first Prize of Technological Innovation of the Ministry of Education in 2016 (5/6), the first Prize of Scientific and Technological progress of the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation in 2020 (2/15), and the first Petrochemical Industry Patent Excellence award (2/12). In 2020, he won "Hou Debang" Chemical Technology Youth Award and in 2021, he won Chen Jiayong Paper Award. In 2019, he was selected as a global Class of Influential Researchers by the Journal of Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research of the American Chemical Society.
